Abstract |
|
In this paper, free vibration analysis of stiffened cylindrical shell is performed in ANSYS (Modal analysis) to study the vibration characteristics (natural frequencies and mode shapes) using First-order Shear Deformation Theory (FSDT). The models had to be studied in this paper is built in ANSYS 18.0. Also Different cross-sections of stiffeners like L, inverted T and I- Cross section subjected to both ends fixed boundary condition were applied on the cylindrical shell. . Stiffened structures are often utilized in structural engineering, marine works, aircraft, locomotives etc. |
