Abstract

The present work on is mainly on the synthesis of various β-diketone ligands and their Cr(III) complexes by ultrasound irradiation method. By using the Baker-Venkataraman rearrangement various ligands & their Cr(III) complex were synthesized and characterized by the different spectroscopic analysis like UV, 1H-NMR, Mass, 13C-NMR, IR, and elemental analysis. Biological activity like antibacterial and antifungal were shown by the synthesized compounds.
