Abstract |

Human gait has come an important biometric in recent times. A figure-grounded system is suggested in this paper, to fete humans in the videotape by their gait. We used the averaged figure to represent the gait cycle. star element Analysis has been used to reduce the dimensionality of the features. We applied Euclidean distance to measure the similarity of the averaged outlines. We enforced the algorithm on the TUM- IITKGP Gait Database which has been introduced lately. Although this system is sensitive to the appearance of the subject, it has a low computational cost and it's simple. We enforced two trials on the achieved equaled outlines. Our results illustrated that features uprooted from the averaged outlines which in them, the lower part of the body is excluded are more suitable rather than those uprooted from the complete averaged outlines. |
