Abstract |
Recently, the concept of smart cities has gained popularity. Because of the growth of the Internet of Things, the idea of a smart city today seems feasible. Urban infrastructure efficiency and dependability are being improved thanks to ongoing IoT research. Issues like traffic congestion, a lack of parking, and road safety are addressed using IoT. In this project, we present an IoT & RFID-based Smart Parking System. The proposed smart parking system makes use of an IoT module that is installed on-site to track and signal the availability of each specific parking space. Users can also verify parking availability and make a reservation for a spot using a smartphone application, which is also available. The report also provides a hardware, simulation view of the project. The use case that describes how the system works near the end of the report shows how accurate the suggested model is. |
