Abstract

Warehouse temperature monitoring is critical for maintaining the quality and safety of stored goods, especially perishable items. In this paper, we propose a solution for warehouse temperature monitoring using wireless sensors. The system utilizes wireless sensor networks to collect temperature data from various locations within the warehouse and transmit it to a central monitoring station. The collected data is then analyzed to ensure that temperature levels remain within specified thresholds to prevent spoilage and ensure product integrity. Additionally, the system can generate real-time alerts and notifications in the event of temperature fluctuations or deviations from the desired range. We present the design and implementation of the wireless sensor network, including sensor selection, deployment strategies, and data transmission protocols. Through experimentation and validation, we demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of our proposed solution in monitoring warehouse temperature and facilitating timely intervention to prevent potential losses. Our approach offers a cost-effective and scalable solution for warehouse temperature monitoring, enhancing efficiency and productivity in storage management processes.
