Abstract |
|
The majority of these modern technical advancements were created to function in self-sufficient environments. The idea of an electric car is gaining popularity in response to growing worries about the use of fossil fuels and man-made climate change. Consequently, the percentage of electric vehicles on the road has been rising steadily. The environment will benefit from the reduction of carbon emissions and footprints caused by electric automobiles. Put another way, people's lives will be impacted by electric automobiles in the near future. When compared to traditional forms of transportation, electric cars have a number of drawbacks in addition to their benefits, such as a limited range. Range anxiety is a troublesome phenomenon that can be successfully avoided by putting in place a strong infrastructure for charging. Consequently, an application that can tell the user where the electric vehicle charger is and whether charging ports are available is required. In order to accomplish this, a cross-platform interactive application known as the Nearest Charging Station Locator and Port Availability Checker for Electric Vehicles is created using the Java programming language's Codename One platform. Extensive experimental data have been obtained, yielding very encouraging outcomes. |
