This project presents the design and development of a robust and efficient biometric attendance system utilizing an Arduino microcontroller and a GSM module. This system integrates fingerprint scanning technology for user identification, eliminating the need for manual paper-based attendance registers and minimizing the potential for fraudulent attendance marking. Real-time attendance data is transmitted wirelessly through the GSM module to designated administrators, ensuring timely and convenient data delivery. This automated approach streamlines attendance recording and management, enhancing organizational efficiency and providing valuable insights for workforce analysis.
