Therefore, a smart medicine box can be employed for this. The suggested smart medicine box will feature a knob that the patient or guardian may use to set the time. The drawers will also open and an alert will sound through a buzzer at the appointed time. The Medicine Box with GSM Module and Fingerprint Sensor (SMB-GFS) is an innovative solution designed to enhance medication management by integrating advanced technologies. This system addresses the challenges associated with medication adherence, security, and remote monitoring, particularly for individuals with complex medication regimens or those requiring close supervision. The key components of the SMB-GFS include a secure storage unit for medications, a GSM module for remote communication, and a fingerprint sensor for user authentication. Upon storing medications in the box, users authenticate themselves via fingerprint recognition, ensuring only authorized individuals can access the contents. This feature enhances security and prevents unauthorized access or tampering.
