The design and construction of patient shifting transfer trolleys—a necessary piece of equipment in medical settings for securely moving patients—are examined in this review paper. The review looks at different design improvements and materials utilized in the fabrication process with an emphasis on efficiency, safety, and ergonomics. We highlight new innovations that improve the experience of caregivers and patients alike, such as the use of hydraulic systems, lightweight materials, and user-friendly features. The article also addresses the difficulties encountered during the design process, including adhering to healthcare laws and the requirement for flexibility in a variety of medical settings. We identify important trends and future directions in the development of patient transfer trolleys by a thorough study of the body of research and case studies now in existence. |
