Abstract |
|
Female entrepreneurs play a crucial role in driving economic growth and development in India, significantly contributing to job creation. As a result, the study of female entrepreneurship has gained considerable attention in recent years. This paper explores the current landscape of women-led businesses in India through a theoretical analysis. It examines the various challenges female entrepreneurs encounter, particularly in terms of educational background and socio-cultural limitations. Additionally, it proposes strategies to address these obstacles, such as providing targeted training, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, implementing 'attributional augmenting,' understanding their motivations, and, most importantly, dismantling restrictive social norms that hinder their progress. |
