Abstract |

The practice of farming today is strange and unusual. The world demands food but the land and water continue to dry up. According to an uncle from my hometown farming is a life-sustaining occupation yet it removes all life energy from people. Thus, we decided to develop a system through our combination of swarm intelligence and artificial intelligence systems. Dragonfly-like drones position themselves among fields and detect weary crops as well as insect pests before applying precise/targeted chemical applications. We used our laptop as a starting point to create the system before we applied it to a tiny agricultural field. During an inquiry with my local uncle he responded with "The flying robot shortens the morning chores yet it remains a financial burden" The current expensive costs do not stop this innovative system from defining future agricultural development. |
