Water conservation is a critical issue in agriculture due to increasing global demand for food production. Traditional irrigation methods are inefficient, leading to excessive water wastage and crop health issues. This paper presents a Smart IoT-Based Irrigation System that automates the irrigation process using soil moisture and environmental sensors integrated with an ESP8266 microcontroller. The system continuously monitors soil moisture, temperature, and humidity and controls water distribution accordingly. The Blynk IoT platform enables real-time monitoring and control through a mobile application. This approach enhances water efficiency, reduces human intervention, and ensures optimal crop irrigation. |
