Abstract

A blockchain-based file storage system that guarantees safe and decentralized data exchange is presented in this study. In order to preserve an unchangeable record of file transactions and guarantee data security and integrity, the system makes use of blockchain technology. Conventional file storage systems are vulnerable to data breaches and single points of failure. Blockchain integration allows us to store and validate file-related transactions in a transparent, impenetrable manner. A peer-to-peer architecture is used for network synchronization, Flask is used for the web interface, and Python is used for system implementation. Performance under various degrees of complexity is assessed by comparing several Proof-of-Work (PoW) approaches. The findings suggest that security and mining efficiency must be traded off. The suggested method emphasizes data ownership and integrity while offering an alternative to centralized cloud storage platforms.
