Abstract

Jigs are specialized tools used in manufacturing to control the location and motion of other tools. This paper presents the design methodology for a jig intended for the machining of an elbow joint component used in industrial pumps. The aim is to enhance precision, reduce production time, and improve operational efficiency. The study addresses the design requirements, material selection, and fixture layout, concluding with an analysis of the jig's effectiveness based on manufacturing parameters.
