Earthern dams and earthern embankments are the most ancient type of embankments as they can built with the natural materials with a minimum of processing and and with primitive equipment .But in ancient days cost the cost of carriage and dumping of the dam materials are quite high .However the modern developers in earth moving equipments have considerably reduced the cost of carriage and laying of the dam materials.This study deals with the findings in the slope stability analysis of poomala dam.Here in this study we use the geostudio software and manual method was also carried out to determine the slope stability analysis. |
