Botnets are the network of the computers that are compromised and controlled by the Botmaster or an attacker. Botnets are used for the spamming, phishing, stealing private information, click fraud and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on computer networks. Different types of Botnets are used for the different purposes. The number of new Botnets in the network creates the challenge for the AV companies to detect them. This paper focuses on different types of Botnets and analysis and detection techniques. |
