Abstract

This paper describes the design and fabrication technique of an inset fed rectangular microstrip patch antenna operating at 2.24GHz. All the designs have the substrate having dielectric constant (εr) 4.3, substrate thickness of 1.524 mm and loss tangent of 0.025. This paper is mostly focused on the designing of an inset fed patch antenna which has been carried out by using CST studio suite. The aim of this paper is on the measurement of return loss, VSWR and bandwidth of designed patch antenna.
