secure data forwarding in cloud storage system with cryptographic scheme

Abstract

Securing the data in a cloud environment is one of the important things. The problem in general encryption scheme is to provide data confidentiality, functions over storage system and security for key server. The secure storage system that supports multiple functions is challenging when the storage system is distributed and has no central authority. This project proposes a proxy re-encryption scheme that supports encoding operations over encrypted messages as well as forwarding operations over encoded and encrypted messages. This method fully integrates encrypting, encoding, and forwarding. Key server provides the key for encryption and decryption operations. This project analyzes and suggest suitable parameters for the number of copies of a message dispatched to storage servers and the number of storage servers queried by a key server. The security which is provided to key server forms a secure storage system.
