Abstract |
Solar energy has maximum efficiency to convert energy into electrical among all the renewable sources, by using solar cell. But initial cost of solar cell is very high. Also in rapid changing environmental condition also partially shaded condition by somehow, the efficiency of conversion into electricity is decreases. So, the overall cost of solar energy will be increased and not economical. So, it is desired to extract maximum energy from solar cell by the way the maximum power point tracking techniques. There are two most popular methods, which are Perturb & Observe (P&O) and Incremental Conductance (IC). The comparative study of these two techniques is described in this paper by theoretically and MATLAB simulation based. |
