In this paper electrical distribution system use of nonlinear loads is much more and therefore problem of Harmonics distortion is available. For mitigation this distortion we interest in APF topology to produce specific current components that cancel the harmonics current components caused by the nonlinear load. Particular shunt Active power filter is most of used as mitigation purpose in distribution system. It has advantages compensate the load current harmonic & as well as contribute to reactive power compensation. For compensation current in shunt active filter using instantaneous active-reactive power theory used which is most convenient than other time domain theories |
