In industries, Engineers are continuously being asked to improve the processes and to increase Efficiency. These requests may arise as a result of the need to increase profitability or to accommodate capital limitations. This work provides methods for increasing efficiency of power plant and industry that generate electricity from coal, gas or crude oil. It is very well conversant that all these energy sources are conventional kind and to be depleted in near future. In India, the most of electricity generation is from coal based power plant. Exergy analysis is a part of solution to save losses in energy and maximize available work. |
