Abstract |

Data mining is the form of discovering useful patterns or knowledge from data sources. As classification is a data mining function that assigns items in a collection to target categories or classes. Classification algorithms are the most commonly used data mining models that are widely used to extract valuable knowledge from huge amounts of data. This paper provides a survey of numerous data mining classification techniques for innovative database applications. There are number of classification algorithms including decision tree, SVM, Bayesian classification, KNN, Genetic algorithm and so on. The goal of this survey paper is to provide a comprehensive review of different classification techniques in data mining. |
