Bandwidth enhancement of single-feed circularly polarized equitriangular microstrip antenna

This paper presents a novel method of increasing impedance and axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of a single feed circularly polarized tip-truncated equitriangular microstrip Antenna (ETMSA). Tip-truncated ETMSA has been previously introduced in the literature; in this new method by cutting a small equitriangular slot near the modified vertex, the impedance and AR bandwidths are increased more than two times.
