Abstract |
The optimal selection of camera configurations (camera locations, orientations, e.t.c) for multi-camera networks remains unsolved. Most of the previous approaches do not generalize well to large scale networks. They only focus on proposing various objective functions to achieve different tasks. To tackle with this problem a trans-dimensional simulated annealing algorithm is proposed. Comparison with the state-of-the-art method based on binary integer programming (BIP) show that the proposed approach also offers similar performance on small scale problems and better capability to deal with large scale problems. |
