Intrusion Detection is one of the important parts of the security system. The research has been carried out at home and abroad for decades in the regard. Nowadays, the using of intelligent data mining approaches to predict intrusion in local area networks has been increasing rapidly. Today, number of open sources and commercial Intrusion Detection Systems are available to match enterprises requirements but the performance of these Intrusion Detection Systems is still the main concern. Y This paper focuses on an approach for intrusion detection system (IDS) based on data mining techniques. |
