Abstract |
This investigation deals with a general queueing model with vacation by using the method of entropy maximization. The probability distribution and other measures of performance have obtained for GE/G/1 and MX/G/1 vacation models of non-exhaustive service. The special cases have been analyzed in such models. The steady state queue size distribution of the number of customers in the system is obtained. In special cases we deduce the results for particular distributions. The numerical examples for illustration purpose are provided for special cases. |
