Abstract |

Conventional technique of farming depends on human power for lifting, dragging, weed control, fruit plucking etc. Humans are prone to work in hazardous environment while spraying chemicals and pesticides. The idea of applying robotics technology in agriculture is new. In agriculture the opportunities for robot–enhanced productivity are immense and the robots are appearing on farms. Here we are using an intelligent farming robot which indicates the plant health using image processing technique and Ultrasonic sensor approach. The robot monitors the surrounding environmental conditions of the plant like temperature and humidity and water the plant accordingly. The PIR sensor which is connected to the controller will indicate the presence of human entering the field by sending message to the owner. |
