Abstract

The main goal of this project is to develop two robots which play badminton. In the design of the robot, the Arduino mega controller along with the USB host shield to support the PS3 controller which is controlling the robots is introduced. Bluetooth wireless technology is used to control the movement of one robot and the other is wired. Joystick controls on PS3 are used to control the speed of the motors. The Bluetooth dongle used to interface the PS3 is of Version 4.0. The pneumatic valve and cylinders are used to give stroke to the shuttle so that it can go a long way. Omni wheels are used to reduce the time required for turning. This paper explains the design, the overall interfacing and working of the robot.
