In this paper a comparison of thickness design methods is being presented. The paper describes two rigid pavements, i.e. the “IRC method ‘and the “AASHTO method “.Various design parameters has been compared and the basic difference between the two methods is analyzed. The paper also highlights the salient features of design and comparison of thickness has been done using Indian traffic conditions. |
