Abstract |

The amount of digital information has increased exponentially over the last few years. So personalized search techniques are essential to retrieve the information which is closer to the user preferences. At the same time the information is being stored in a semi-structured way, to exchange this type of data XML has emerged as a standard for representing the data. XML search allows higher retrieval potency, due to its capacity to retrieve and to show the user specific parts of the documents instead of the full document. In this paper, proposed personalized techniques in the context of XML retrieval process and combined different approaches where personalized may be applied. |
