Abstract |
|
Substituting hybrid structures for conventional metallic structures have many advantages because of higher specific stiffness and higher specific strength of hybrid materials. First we will study design of shaft concentrating on critical speed, static torque, and fibre orientation etc. Experimental set up will carried out to find static and dynamic results, torsion behaviour of hybrid drive shaft. Finite element analysis will give us optimal stacking sequence of the product considering the proper interface between the metallic tube and the composite layer. |
