Now a day various techniques used in the plumbing design, and one of the techniques is used in plumbing design for various comfort condition is the vacuum sewerage system. In this review paper special preference is to the vacuum sewerage system. It is a mechanized system of wastewater transport. This system uses a central vacuum source to convey sewage from individual household to a central collection station. Vacuum sewers use differential air pressure (negative pressure) to move the sewage. A central source of power to operate vacuum pumps is required to maintain vacuum (negative pressure) on the collection system. The resulting differential pressure between atmosphere and vacuum becomes the driving force that propels the sewage towards the vacuum station. |
