It relies on modern traffic management systems and practices, improved safety standards in design, construction, operation and maintenance of roads, and production and maintenance of safer vehicles. This type of study has been conducted for the stretch of Garudeshwar chokdi to Kalaghoda circle at Rajpipala in Gujarat state of India. In this paper identification of the causes of the accidents, hazardous locations on stretch, geometric design criteria, and physical condition of road stretch is done and given the appropriate solutions for reducing road accidents. |
