Abstract |
|
This paper compares the performance of three different routing protocols LEACH, TEEN and APTEEN in the wireless sensor networks. Classification of protocols based on their mode of functioning as proactive, reactive and hybrid protocols. As the wireless sensor networks are made up of tiny energy hungry sensor nodes, the number and type of sensor nodes and the design protocols for any WSNs is application specific. The sensor data in this application may be light intensity, temperature, pressure, humidity and their variations. |
