Abstract |

The goal of segmentation is typically to locate certain objects of interest which may be depicted in the image, segmentation could therefore be seen as a computer vision problem. Several general-purpose algorithms and techniques have been developed for image segmentation. To be useful, these techniques must typically be combined with a domain's specific knowledge in order to effectively solve the domain's segmentation problems. This paper presents a methodology to implement PSO algorithm for image segmentation. |
