Agile manufacturing, as a new manufacturing paradigm, requires a systematic study of its enablers to aid in successful adoption and implementation of the concept and practice. Agile manufacturing is a term applied to an organization that has created the processes, tools, and training to enable it to respond quickly to customer needs and market changes while still controlling costs and quality. But, implementation of agile manufacturing is not an easy task as it is full of lots of hurdles. The main objective of this paper is to identify the critical factors which help in the successful implementation of agile manufacturing in manufacturing organization. |
