Abstract

The Bit Error Rate (BER) is indicates how often data has to be retransmitted because of an error in telecommunication. We have different modulation techniques scheme for improvement of BER in fiber optic communications. Optical fiber systems operating with a non-return-to-zero (NRZ) format at transmission rates of up to 10Gbps can be obtained by the developed scheme. Performance of improved detected signals has been evaluated by the analysis of quality factor and computed BER. Noticeable improvement can be seen in the Numerical simulations of the system BER after implementation of the suggested processing operation on the detected electrical signals at central wavelengths in the region of 1310 nm.
