Abstract |
A bypass road is special road that divert large part of traffic from main town to avoid traffic congestion to local traffic and improve road safety. Such condition is existing in Nakhatrana town in Kutch. In this town large part of through traffic and local traffic cause un-necessary slow movement of traffic which in turn increase in vehicle operating cost and number of accident occurred. Feasibility of bypass is carried out and to propose bypass road. So that geometric design of bypass and pavement design is to be done. Economic evaluation of Nakhatrana bypass is done by using Cost-Benefit ratio, Net Present Value Method, and Internal Rate of Return Method. |
