Abstract |

The large demand for Chromosome analysis calls for the development of portable, low-cost, easy-to-perform assays. We developed and performed preliminary assessments of an integral biosensor for detecting genetic disorder and diseases. The device behaves consistently with a proposed electrical model and it reliably detects chromosome hybridization with high specificity for genetic disorder. We have also verified the reproducibility of the experimental results and the reusability of the Chromosome biosensor. |
