Abstract

Directivity is very important fundamental parameter of antenna. This directivity is the ratio of the maximum value of the power radiated per unit solid angle to the average power radiated per unit solid angle. Antenna array provides capability of a steerable beam, high gain etc. calculating directivity of an antenna array by using formula increases the complexity. In this paper neural network is used for solving this problem. Directivity prediction for different antenna array, using radial basis function neural networks (RBF-NNs) are presented.
