Abstract |

The main objective of this paper is to develop a smart greenhouse monitoring system using internet of things (IOT). We will design a protocol for greenhouse monitoring using wireless sensor network (WSN). Focus area will be parameters such as temperature, humidity and soil moisture. This system will be a substitute to traditional farming method in which farmer had to visit his field regularly to examine these parameters. We will develop such a system that will help a farmer to know his field status in his home or he may be residing in any part of the world. This paper investigates a smart agriculture monitoring system using arduino which senses the values of the parameters such as temperature, humidity and soil moisture and sends it to a controller that collect the data, analyses it and update it to a real-time monitoring system called firebase. |
