Abstract |

This paper presents the integrated approach using AHP and MACBETH method to develop a decision making model to select the best supplier. Now a day, in an extremely competitive environment. Supplier selection plays a vital role in the success of any manufacturing or production organization. Selection of suitable supplier is a multi-criterion problem having both quantitative and qualitative criteria. In this paper, we develop a methodology which helps in ranking of supplier. In this study I have consider most important criteria which is quality, service, delay time and cost .in this study weights calculation for each criterion is based on analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and after that these weights are used in measuring attractiveness by a categorical-based evaluation technique (Macbeth) method for ranking. |
