Abstract

The present study discussed the assesse of the chemical and physical quality of groundwater of Dehradun City for domastic purposes. Groundwater sample was collected on the 27 sample location from Tube wells and Handpumps. The water sample was analysed of the physical and chemical parameters. The pH is varying from to and EC is varying from to. The analyzed groundwater only chemical characteristic was compare to the types of water as well as piper and chadha’s plot. Piper and chadha’s diagram was ploted for the comparing the results of water types. Most of the samples (approximately 90%) were showed that the Ca-Mg-HCO3 type of water in both methods. Piper diagram is ploted by the aquaChem 2011.1 software.
