Machine learning is a branch of computer science which evolves from the pattern recognition and computational learning theory. The task of machine learning is categorized into supervised learning, unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning. In this paper, techniques such as support vector machine to extract the substring and for named entities, OSC-NMF for pattern, PCA to detect cancer disease, decision tree to diagnosis heart disease, margin-based censored regression approach, novel multi-task learning techniques are surveyed. |
