Abstract |

The information security has become one of the most significant problems in data communication. So it becomes an inseparable part of data communication. In order to address this problem, many different data hiding techniques have been developed. This paper intends to offer a state of the art overview of the different algorithms used for information hiding. Different information hiding techniques focus on a variety of requirements such as robustness, tamper resistance, imperceptibility, security and Capacity. In this paper, we study about various information hiding techniques and discuss about their importance in order to enhance security of data communication. Information hiding plays a very crucial role today. It provided methods for encrypting the information so that it becomes unreadable for any unintended user. |
