Fast Fourier transform (FFT) is an efficient method to implement discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and DFT is a Fourier Transform which is used for discrete time signals to convert time domain signals into frequency domain. The Fast Fourier Transform is a very important operation in the field of digital signal processing. The paper concentrates on the implementation of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) through Decimation-In- Time (DIT) with Radix-2 algorithm. VHDL can be used as design entity and Xilinx Design Suite may be used for synthesis purpose. |
