Abstract |

Now a day, World Wide Web (WWW) is a rich and most powerful source of information. Day by day it is becoming more difficult and expanding in size to get maximum information details online. Web usage mining focuses on techniques that could predict user behavior while the user interacts with the Web. It tries to create sense of the data produced by the Web surfer’s sessions or performances. There is an attempt to provide an outline of the state of the art in the research of web usage mining, while discussing the most relevant tools presented in the sphere as well as the niche requirements that the recent variety of tools lack. Generally the focus of the paper will be to present a survey of the recent improvements in this area which is receiving too much attention from web development arena. |
