Abstract |

there are many natural resources, which we are using in our day to day life, water is one of the most important resources from all of them. Water is required to produce Energy, and Energy is required to produce potable water by reverse osmosis process. In this paper our main focus is to help in reducing the energy consumption by utilizing the energy stored in the reject water pressure. There are many methods to reduce energy consumption in various capacities reverse osmosis plants. Seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant with various energy recovery systems is studied using exergy analysis. These energy recovery devices and pressure exchangers as well as infinite area based single and two-stage pressure retarded osmosis units. |
