Abstract |

orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is used in most new and emerging broadband wired and wireless communication systems. It is an effective solution to inter-symbol interference caused by a dispersive channel. OFDM is also a promising technology for optical communications. It became the basis of many communications standards for wireless and wired applications. The bulky receivers can be replaced by OFDM technique. For better speed we can construct it using SOI technology. For faster operation and better stability we can combine both techniques. The performances of various systems are explained in this paper. |
