Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) system is a key technology for future wireless communication. It supports higher data rates in this constrained wireless electromagnetic environment. MIMO technique uses the multiple antennas to achieve high transmission rate. The receiver end of the MIMO consists of many receiver algorithms have been used for the detection of the transmitted symbols. In this paper we are discussing about some of the receiver algorithms like Zero forcing (ZF), Minimum mean Square error (MMSE), Maximum likelihood (ML), Sphere decoding (SD) and they are compared based on complexity and BER performance. The algorithms are simulated in MATLAB and BER performance are validated. |
